Colourcoil Industries is home to the KOOL system. Introduced in 2010 as Malaysia’s metal building industry’s first commercialized cool colour coated steel, Colourcoil KOOL products is the latest technology from a company that has been an industry leader in developing innovative, energy saving pre-painted steel products for the downstream manufacturing of metal roofs, side walls and building components.

Colourcoil KOOL pre-painted steel represents an important breakthrough in colour coated metals because they help customers meet regulatory and environmental requirements while giving architects and building owners a full palette of colours that fulfill their colour and design demands.

Colourcoil Industries is a member of Malaysia Green Building Confederation (MGBC) and Cool Roof Rating Council (CRRC) as well as an ENERGY STAR Partner. These organizations are helping us to save money and protect the environment through energy efficient products and practices.

What is cool?

Colourcoil Industries offers four high performance pre-painted steel products: PVF2 Series™, METALLIC PVF2 Series™ and DUOTONE PVF2 Series™, which are PVDF technologies, and the ELITE Series TM and KRISTALMATT Series™ which are both formulated with super-durable polyester. All these coatings have significantly higher solar reflectance values than conventional metal roof coatings made in the same colours, which lead to energy savings and cooler interior spaces.
