Where does lead come from? Lead comes from pigments that are often used in formulating paint coatings. At Colourcoil Industries, all pigments used in our paint formulations for the manufacturing of pre-painted steel are lead-free. If you plan to collect rainwater from your roof for drinking or washing, be careful. Check first. Long term exposure to this chemical can be harmful to both you and your families’ health, a condition known as lead poisoining.
